What changed when we checked our broker licence records
A fixed snapshot that readers and publishers can cite. The figures describe Clarytrade's records and corrections, not the prevalence of misconduct among brokers.
Snapshot prepared 19 September 2026. Underlying register-check dates: 2026-06-19 to 2026-09-15. This release does not claim that every record was rechecked on publication day.
17 historical corrections remain 17 after a re-check
The selected dataset contains 100 licence records across 26 broker labels, including research-only brands outside the current directory. 17 records have needed correction in our evidence log. Of those, 6 corrected values have subsequently been re-read on a register; 11 await that confirming step. A re-check changes the current evidence status, but it does not erase the correction history.
The corrected values are already published. “Awaiting re-verification” means another confirming source read remains outstanding; it does not mean that the known erroneous value is still displayed. These are corrections to our records, not 17 findings that brokers supplied false information.
The four groups are mutually exclusive and total 100. The two correction groups together total 17. Pending and unknown records are not counted as verified.
Why company names matter more than a badge
Separately, the current published directory maps 74 legal-entity records to 20 brands; 17 brands have more than one entity. A licence can belong to the group without covering the company that signs a reader's agreement. The practical check is to match the legal name, licence identifier, current status, permitted service and account jurisdiction.
Our broker entity study explains that mapping. The country/entity checker shows a possible route with its evidence confidence; the agreement remains the document to verify.

Method, limits and reuse
This is a frozen export of the existing evidence log and entity map, not a fresh survey or a random industry sample. We counted each licence record once, preserved its historical correction flag, and separated subsequent re-verification. Different regulators and permissions are not interchangeable. The licence log includes six broker labels not in the current 20-brand directory. Entity-map counts use only the current directory, and the export includes those entity records separately. No industry-wide error rate can be inferred.
Reproduce the four groups from the JSON using displayStatus and reVerified; count historical corrections using status = corrected. The snapshot stays fixed as the live evidence log moves on. There is no earlier frozen release here from which to calculate a monthly increase or decrease.
