About Clarytrade
Clarytrade is a broker research and comparison website focused on broker fees, licence checks, legal entities, regulation notes, country availability and risk information before users deposit.
What Clarytrade checks
Every broker in our database is researched against the same checklist, with the evidence status shown on each profile:
- Licences— checked against the regulator's own register where readable; licences we could not read first-hand are marked "pending — verify", never "verified".
- Legal entities — which company actually opens your account by country, via the entity checker.
- Fees — spreads, commissions, withdrawal and inactivity charges, compared as an all-in cost on the fees page.
- Country availability — restricted-country lists and which entity serves which region.
- Risk notes — leverage, product risk and the red-flag patterns we track before anyone deposits.
What Clarytrade does not do
Clarytrade does not provide financial advice, trading signals, portfolio management or investment recommendations. We do not execute trades, hold client money, or operate as a broker, and we do not tell you whether trading is suitable for you. We publish research about brokers; the decision — and the risk — stays yours.
Research-only disclaimer
Everything on this site is informational research, not financial advice. Broker fees, terms, licences and availability change; figures are checked reference points, not promises. Always verify directly with the provider and on the regulator's official register before depositing. Our full risk wording is on the risk disclosure page.
How broker data is reviewed
Broker records are built from published broker information, regulator registers, pricing disclosures and legal documents — scored against our published methodology, with affiliate commission weighted 0% in scoring. Licence checks live in an internal evidence log with per-licence statuses (verified / pending / corrected) that surface on every scan page, and our broker-entity study documents the entity-level differences behind the brands.
Who reviews the platforms
Reviews are produced in-house by the Clarytrade editorial team, organised into desks by coverage area. We don't publish reviews under invented expert names — assessments are the team's, scored against our published method.
Spreads, execution quality, leverage rules by region, and platform tooling.
Account types, custody, all-in cost and suitability for buy-and-hold investors.
Crypto-CFD risk, custody, security and the limits of regulation in this space.
How we work
Evidence over adjectives
Our reviews are research-based: we use published broker information, regulatory registers, pricing disclosures and platform documentation, scored against our methodology — not the platform's own marketing. We don't claim live account testing unless we state it explicitly, and figures should be verified directly before depositing.
Correction policy
If we get something wrong, we fix it and note the change. Found an error? Tell us and we'll review it.
Independence
We earn affiliate commission, weighted 0% in our scoring. Read our methodology and how we make money.
Editorial policy
Our full standards — sourcing, the review process, independence, updates and corrections — are published in our editorial policy.
Contact & correction requests
Spotted an outdated fee, a licence change, or an error in a broker record? Send it via the contact page — corrections are reviewed against primary sources and noted when applied. Broker representatives can request a data review the same way. To flag a problem with a broker (withdrawal issues, misleading claims), use report a broker issue.
