The register-checked badge

A small, factual badge a broker can place on its own site. It states how many of the broker's licences we have read on the regulators' registers and when, and links to the evidence. It is free, it updates itself, and it makes no ranking or endorsement claim.

What it shows

A verification result, nothing more

  • • The count. “N of M licences verified on register”, computed from our public licence-evidence log. A licence is verified only after we read it on the regulator's own register or in a regulator-authored document.
  • • The date. The most recent register read for that broker. When we re-check, the badge changes by itself; nothing is cached on your side beyond a day.
  • • The link. The badge links to the broker's regulation page, which lists every licence with its status, notes, corrections and the official register links, so a visitor can check the claim in one click.
  • • What it never says. No “trusted”, “safe”, “best” or rank. If a record is still pending or was corrected, the badge says so. A broker whose licences we could not verify gets a badge that says exactly that.
