Score breakdown
Affiliate commission is weighted 0% and never affects this score.
Document-based editorial assessment of the international instaforex.com offering under Clarytrade's existing eight weighted criteria. The marks are judgments, not measured execution, withdrawal, support or investment results. The separate EU company's licence is recorded, but its account terms and compensation arrangements are not credited to the international referral. Evidence limitations remain explicit; no comparable complaint rate or live account test was established. Affiliate revenue has no weight. App and experience-fit marks separately assess documented capabilities and account complexity, not app-store ratings.
Regulation & safety · 65/100
The BVI FSC currently lists InstaFinance Ltd for several investment activities, providing regulator-authored evidence beyond company registration. Country-specific retail routing, ordinary client-money arrangements and an unconditional negative-balance limit are not established for the referral. The separate CySEC company does not extend EU terms to the international account.
Fees & all-in cost · 55/100
The current comparison documents spread-only and commission account choices, but its spread labels and Zero/Raw commission units do not establish a comparable standard-lot round-turn cost. The nonstandard InstaForex lot requires extra care. Dormancy and payment charges add costs; the rating does not treat zero starting spreads as zero total trading expense.
Platform & app quality · 80/100
The documented choice includes MT4, MT5, WebTrader and MobileTrader, supporting desktop, web and mobile workflows. ForexCopy is documented, but the MT5 agreement excludes that service on MT5 accounts. The assessment credits the available tools without claiming measured uptime, execution quality or usability.
Asset coverage · 75/100
Official platform documentation covers forex and several CFD categories, including shares, ETFs, commodities, metals, energy and cryptocurrency exposure. This is broader than forex alone, while derivative exposure does not establish ownership of the underlying assets. Conflicting instrument counts are left out rather than combined into a brand-wide total.
Deposits & withdrawals · 60/100
Standard and Cent accounts advertise a USD1 entry point, subject to payment-method limits, and the public schedule offers cards, crypto methods and PayCo. Withdrawal fees, same-source conditions and method-dependent processing restrict a simple speed comparison. Published processing is not measured arrival, and no funding or withdrawal was tested.
Reputation & complaints · 45/100
Official Malaysia and Alberta notices identify local authorisation problems for InstaForex. A historical CySEC fine concerns the separate EU company and is described with its corrective-action context, without implying a current suspension. These documented events inform the judgment; no representative complaint-resolution rate or absence-of-complaints finding is claimed.
Customer support · 60/100
The contact page advertises 24/7 support through email or feedback, callback and telephone, while financial, partner and dealer departments have narrower hours. Public support documentation also explains account mechanics and the lot-size convention. This earns credit for documented access, not for measured response times or complaint-resolution quality, which have not been tested.
Transparency · 45/100
Account tables, legal agreements and method-level payment charges are publicly available, but decimal spreads labelled as pips, unclear commission denominators and inconsistent legacy company/account references require careful checking. The special Segregated Account product and swap-free eligibility also need explicit qualification rather than broad feature claims.
Assessment dated 2026-10-24. Read the scoring method. Account terms and country eligibility require a separate check.
Regulation & legal entities
BVI FSC lists InstaFinance Ltd as currently regulated for investment activities; its published register entries do not print the broker-disclosed SIBA/L/14/1082 number. CySEC separately confirms Instant Trading EU Ltd, licence 266/15, with instaforex.eu as an approved domain. Neither that EU licence nor a partner registration confirms the entity or country eligibility of the international .com referral.
| Regulators | BVI FSC — British Virgin Islands, entity on the register (no licence number published) (Tier 3)Verified on registerchecked 2026-10-24 |
| Segregated client fundsSegregated fundsClient money held in bank accounts kept separate from the broker's own funds, so it isn't used to run the business and is easier to return if the firm fails. | Ordinary client-money segregation for this international account was not established by the documents reviewed. The separately named Segregated Account service is a special arrangement requiring proof of funds above USD50,000, with a 30% deposit and 70% credit; it is not evidence that all ordinary accounts use segregated client-money arrangements. |
| Accepts clients from | The international website excludes US residents and says its content is not intended for EU residents, directing them to the separate .eu service. A complete campaign country list and country-to-company routing have not been confirmed. A displayed referral does not establish final account acceptance or local authorisation. |
| Compensation scheme | No statutory compensation scheme was established for the international account. The separate EU company's stated ICF membership applies only to eligible clients of that company, not automatically to the instaforex.com referral. |
| Negative-balance protectionNegative-balance protectionA safeguard that stops your account going below zero, so you can't end up owing the broker more than you deposited. Mandatory for retail clients in some regions. | An unconditional negative-balance limit was not established for the international account. Clause 3.15.5 permits a negative balance to be restored using funds in another account. Do not substitute the separate EU company's retail terms. |

Which InstaForex entity would onboard you?
The brand is not the counterparty — the legal entity on your client agreement sets your regulator, protections and terms. These are the entities we track for this broker.

Fees & spreads
| Advertised starting spreadSpreadThe gap between the buy (ask) and sell (bid) price. It's a core trading cost — tighter spreads are cheaper for you. | Unit needs clarification |

| Minimum deposit | From USD1 International account comparison read 24 October 2026: USD1 for Insta.Standard and Insta.Cent; USD100 for Insta.Pro, Insta.Zero and Insta.Raw. The page states that minimum funding also depends on the payment system. These are not the separate EU account minimums. |
| Inactivity fee | USD10/month may be charged on positive balances after three consecutive inactive months |

The current international table shows Standard/Cent spreads 'from 0.00006' and Pro 'from 0.00004' under a pips heading, and Zero/Raw 'from 0' plus commission 'from 0.5 USD'. The spread unit, commission denominator and charging side need clarification before a standard-lot round-turn comparison. The agreement states that one market lot equals ten InstaForex lots; support describes a 10,000-unit InstaForex lot. Check the actual symbol specification, financing and payment costs.
Our full read
This review covers the international InstaForex offering on instaforex.com. The separate instaforex.eu service uses different company and account documents. Sources and official regulator pages were read on 24 October 2026. This is document research; no funded account, execution, withdrawal or support-response test was performed.
Five current international account types
The current international account comparison lists these terms. The minimum also depends on the payment system; a small account minimum does not establish the amount required for a particular trade or payment method.
| Account | Advertised minimum | Spread text as printed | Commission text as printed |
|---|---|---|---|
| Insta.Standard | USD1 | From 0.00006 | 0 |
| Insta.Pro | USD100 | From 0.00004 | 0 |
| Insta.Zero | USD100 | From 0 | From USD0.5 |
| Insta.Raw | USD100 | From 0 | From USD0.5 |
| Insta.Cent | USD1 | From 0.00006 | 0 |
There are two material quotation gaps. The table labels its decimal spread figures as “pips”, which does not provide an unambiguous comparable pip figure. It also does not make the Zero/Raw commission denominator and charging side sufficiently clear. We have therefore not converted these figures into a standard-lot round-turn cost, or called the zero-starting-spread accounts free to trade. Confirm the symbol, account, lot size, spread unit and each commission charge before comparing them with another platform. The spread-versus-commission guide explains the calculation once those inputs are known.
The table lists USD, EUR and RUB account currencies for Standard, Pro, Zero and Raw, and USD/EUR for Cent. It advertises market execution and a maximum leverage of 5,000:1. That is an international product headline, not a UK/EU retail limit, a setting available to every customer or a target to use. Account conditions, balance and instrument restrictions need checking. We have not measured execution quality. Legacy descriptions of “Eurica” accounts are not substituted for the five names in the current table.
Do not compare unlike lot sizes
Clause 1.2 of the current international client agreement says that one market lot equals ten InstaForex lots. The broker's lot-size support article describes a 10,000-unit InstaForex lot, with an example of USD1 per pip for one such lot and USD10 per pip for ten lots.
That makes a simple “commission per lot” comparison unreliable unless the lots have the same underlying size. Check the actual platform symbol specification, account and quote currency. This support example explains units; it does not establish the current spread, commission, financing or execution price for your intended trade.
Platforms, demo and copy-trading limitations
The official platform documentation lists MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, WebTrader and MobileTrader, with desktop and mobile access. MT4 and MT5 require separate accounts. The demo registration page offers MT4 and MT5 choices with virtual funds; we did not submit a registration or treat demo availability as a result of live trading tests.
The mobile-products page documents ForexCopy. However, the MT5 supplementary agreement states that MT5 accounts are incompatible with ForexCopy. Do not assume every platform supports the same services. Copy trading also carries loss risk; we have not assessed provider performance or copied a live strategy.
The documented markets include forex and CFDs on shares, ETFs, commodities, metals, energy and cryptocurrencies. The Bitcoin product page explicitly describes CFDs without actual delivery. Crypto funding methods and crypto CFDs are separate features; neither should be described as buying and owning spot cryptocurrency. Published instrument counts differ across pages, so this review does not combine them into one exact inventory.
Deposits, withdrawals and additional fees
The international deposits schedule lists Visa/Mastercard, cryptocurrency methods and PayCo. It shows no broker deposit commission for the listed methods, but bank conversion and other provider charges may still apply. Its card processing estimate is 15 minutes to seven business hours; crypto processing is stated as within three hours. These are broker statements, not tests of transfer arrival. Method availability depends on the account and region.
The international withdrawals schedule gives method-specific processing estimates and fees:
| Listed method | Published processing | Published fee |
|---|---|---|
| Bank card transfer | 1–6 business days | System fee |
| Bitcoin / Litecoin | 1–7 working hours | 0.5% |
| Tether USDT | 1–7 working hours | 1%–2% |
| Ethereum | 1–7 working hours | 1% |
| PayCo | Within 48 hours | System fee |
| USD Visa / Mastercard | Within seven working hours | 2.5% |
The card rows are separate options in the broker's schedule; they should not be collapsed into one universal card promise. Processing also differs from receipt by a bank or wallet. Clause 4.1.5 of the client agreement permits some delays up to five working days and refers to further exceptions. Clause 4.1.3 requires the same electronic payment system, details and currency used to deposit, with proportional treatment where several sources were used. Confirm verification, the available route and the actual quoted fee before requesting a withdrawal.
The agreement also contains costs that a spread headline omits. Clause 4.3.3 permits a USD10 monthly charge on a positive-balance account after three consecutive inactive months, with account closure also possible. Clause 4.3.2 allows deposit or withdrawal commission increases of up to 7% plus actual expenses in the circumstances covered by the agreement. This is why we do not label all withdrawals or non-trading activity as free.
Account terms that must not be inferred from feature names
A general, unconditional negative-balance limit was not established for this international account. Clause 3.15.5 of the client agreement permits restoring a negative balance using another account's funds. The separate EU company's retail terms must not be substituted for that international wording.
The Segregated Account supplementary agreement describes a special arrangement involving proof of funds above USD50,000, a 30% deposit and 70% credit. That named service is not evidence that every ordinary customer's funds are held under generic client-money segregation arrangements. We have not verified the broker's banking arrangements or established a statutory compensation scheme for the international account.
The swap-free agreement requires an application and allows refusal. It contains instrument exceptions and a seven-day limit for the forex, index and metal exemption. Crucially, clause 10 limits the service to accounts not registered in the affiliate program. Its availability through Clarytrade's referral therefore needs partner clarification; it is not advertised here as a confirmed referral benefit.
Support availability is a published claim
The official contact page advertises support 24/7 through email or feedback, callback and telephone. It separately gives 08:00–17:00 UTC hours for financial, partner and dealer departments; the deposit schedule describes finance-department working days as Monday to Friday. This is a description of advertised access, not a measured response-time or complaint-resolution result.
The international company and the EU company are different
The current international public offer agreement and regulatory disclosure name InstaFinance Ltd in the British Virgin Islands. The BVI Financial Services Commission's current register entry, opened and read directly, lists that company as currently regulated for dealing as principal. Its other register entries cover dealing as agent, arranging deals and custody of investments.
The official pages confirm the entity and recorded activities, but do not print a licence number. The number SIBA/L/14/1082 is published by the broker; it is not an independently verified number in this review. A legacy help page still uses the name Instant Trading Ltd. The current agreement and current regulator entry agree on InstaFinance Ltd, but we have not established a regulator-authored rename history or a rename date.
The CySEC register separately confirms Instant Trading EU Ltd, licence 266/15. It lists instaforex.eu, forexmart.eu and instatradesolution.hu among the company's approved domains. This is a separate legal person. The existence of that licence does not mean that the international referral opens an EU account, carries EU retail terms or gives access to the EU company's compensation arrangements.
The international footer also names Insta Global Ltd in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. No regulator-authored securities licence has been verified for that company in this review. Company registration must not be counted as brokerage authorisation.
Country acceptance and referral approval need their own check
A licence records permitted activities; it does not establish retail onboarding in every country. Nor does a partner account establish that every marketing placement or country is approved. The country-to-company allocation for Clarytrade's international referral has not been confirmed, so this review does not assign every visitor to the BVI or EU company by assumption.
There are also relevant local notices. The Securities Commission Malaysia alert dated 11 November 2024 includes InstaForex. Its current investor-alert entry links instaforex.com and describes unlicensed securities-dealing activity in Malaysia. The Alberta Securities Commission notice dated 5 May 2023 states that InstaForex is not registered to trade in or advise on securities or derivatives in Alberta. These are jurisdiction-specific findings; an offshore licence does not replace local authorisation.
The separate EU company also has historical regulatory action. In an announcement dated 2 August 2018, CySEC described a EUR130,000 administrative fine against Instant Trading EU Ltd. The decision addressed client-interest and appropriateness obligations and recorded corrective actions presented by the company as mitigating factors. This historical EU-company action is not a finding that its current licence is suspended, and must not be attributed to the distinct BVI company as though they were the same legal person.
How to use the score
The headline uses Clarytrade's existing eight-category weighted model. Its category explanations appear above with their dated sources. They are editorial judgments about the researched offering, not measured execution quality, a prediction of withdrawal success or a measure of the probability of loss. The separate app and experience-fit marks are also editorial assessments, not app-store ratings.
Before depositing, read the company name on the actual application, check that company's official record and compare the account's costs and withdrawal terms. Our licence-checking guide explains the process; the withdrawal checklist separates verification, internal processing and payment-provider delays.
Pros
- Current account comparison distinguishes Standard, Pro, Zero, Raw and Cent structures
- Documented MT4, MT5, web and mobile platform choices
- Public legal documents and payment-method fees available before applying

- Spread labels, commission units and nonstandard lot sizes require careful checking
- Payment fees, dormant-account charges and withdrawal checks can add costs or delay
Products & markets
ForexCopy is not compatible with MT5 accounts. Confirm the account and platform before applying.
The reviewed international offering covers forex and CFDs on several asset classes. Share, ETF, commodity and crypto exposure does not establish ownership of the underlying assets. Platform, account and country determine the available instruments; ForexCopy is not compatible with MT5 accounts. No single instrument count has been independently inventoried.
Products shown are offered as CFDs unless otherwise stated. Crypto CFDs do not provide ownership of the underlying cryptoasset. Product availability varies by region.
Complaints & track record
This is a document-based editorial review. Malaysia and Alberta notices concern local authorisation, and the historical CySEC fine concerns the separate EU company. No exhaustive global enforcement search, representative complaint-resolution rate, live execution test or withdrawal/support test is claimed. The score does not predict account acceptance, losses or withdrawal success.
InstaForex — common questions
Is InstaForex regulated?
BVI FSC lists InstaFinance Ltd as currently regulated for investment activities; its published register entries do not print the broker-disclosed SIBA/L/14/1082 number. CySEC separately confirms Instant Trading EU Ltd, licence 266/15, with instaforex.eu as an approved domain. Neither that EU licence nor a partner registration confirms the entity or country eligibility of the international .com referral.
What is the minimum deposit at InstaForex?
International account comparison read 24 October 2026: USD1 for Insta.Standard and Insta.Cent; USD100 for Insta.Pro, Insta.Zero and Insta.Raw. The page states that minimum funding also depends on the payment system. These are not the separate EU account minimums.
How long do withdrawals take at InstaForex?
Typical withdrawal time is Method dependent. Actual speed depends on your payment method and identity verification.
Is InstaForex good for beginners?
InstaForex is better suited to traders with some experience (beginner score 45/100). Beginners may prefer a simpler, lower-risk platform.
How does Clarytrade make money from this review?
If you open an account through our link, InstaForex pays us a commission at no extra cost to you. It does not affect our score — commission is weighted 0% in our method.
Which withdrawal timings does InstaForex publish?
The international schedule lists 1–7 working hours for several crypto methods and 1–6 business days for a bank-card transfer, with fees varying by method. Another USD Visa/Mastercard option lists seven working hours. These are published processing estimates, not measured receipt times or a promise for every account. Agreement clause 4.1.5 also allows some processing delays up to five working days and refers to further exceptions.
Does one InstaForex lot equal a standard 100,000-unit forex lot?
Not in the international agreement's stated convention: clause 1.2 says one market lot equals ten InstaForex lots, and official support describes a 10,000-unit InstaForex lot. Confirm the current account, platform and symbol specification before comparing trade size, pip value or commission with another broker.
Is swap-free trading available through this referral?
That has not been established. The international swap-free service requires an application and can be declined. Its agreement includes instrument and holding-period exceptions, and clause 10 limits the service to accounts not registered in the affiliate program. We do not advertise it as a confirmed feature of Clarytrade's referral.
