Exness has reasonable deposit and withdrawal handling and competitive all-in trading costs, but it offers leveraged CFDs, where most retail accounts lose money, and some clients may be onboarded through an offshore entity with weaker protection. Before depositing, verify the exact legal entity, product access and withdrawal terms that apply to you — and it's worth comparing alternatives before you decide.

Where does Exness hold client funds?
Exness says it keeps client funds in segregated accounts at multiple banks it describes as “tier-1”. Its public deposits and withdrawals page, read on 15 October 2026, does not name the bank or jurisdiction holding an individual client’s money. This is the broker’s statement; we have not independently audited those bank accounts.
Start with the legal company on your agreement. Ask which client-money terms apply, whether it can identify the relevant bank and jurisdiction, and what insolvency and compensation arrangements apply to that account. Do not infer your coverage from another company’s licence within the same group.

Exness — common questions
Quick, research-based answers to what people check before depositing. Informational only — verify directly.
Is Exness regulated?+
Exness holds licences from FCA (United Kingdom), CySEC (Cyprus), FSCA (South Africa), FSA (Seychelles), CMA (Kenya). We have checked 5 of its 5 licence records first-hand against regulator-authored sources. Client funds are held in segregated accounts, with ICF up to €20,000 (CySEC clients). Regulation can differ by the entity that onboards you, and some clients are onboarded under an offshore entity with weaker protection. Always confirm the specific licence on the regulator's official register before depositing.
Is Exness a scam, or is it legitimate?+
We don't label any broker "safe", but Exness is a licensed operator with register-verified tier-1 oversight (FCA), not an anonymous one. The bigger risk is clone scams: fraudsters copy real brokers' names and websites. Reach Exness only through its official domain, and verify the licence number on the regulator's own register.
Is Exness available in my country?+
Availability — and the legal entity that onboards you — varies by country (Exness does not accept US, CA). The entity decides your regulator and protection. Use our entity decoder to see which entity may apply to you, and confirm it during signup.

How long do withdrawals take at Exness?+
Typical withdrawal time is Often instant. Actual speed depends on your payment method, identity verification (KYC) and the entity that holds your account. Regulated brokers usually return funds to your original deposit method first.

Maximum leverage is around Unlimited on the global entity; retail limits — UK: up to 30:1; EU: up to 30:1; Australia: up to 30:1. Lower limits apply to some instruments. Leverage amplifies both gains and losses, and most retail CFD accounts lose money — only trade with money you can afford to lose.
