Moneta Markets Review (2026)
International account pricing, platforms and company records — with the differences made explicit.
Do not combine the international account's terms with another group company's licence. The international agreement names a Saint Lucia company. The FCA record for the separate UK company has professional and eligible-counterparty permissions, not a retail account route. See the company records ↓
The 60-second read
Moneta Markets' international comparison offers spread-only and spread-plus-commission accounts, with MetaTrader and its own platform options. The actual account company matters: the international agreement's Saint Lucia company is distinct from the brand's other regulated companies. Published withdrawal pages also disagree on timing and charges, so the current portal quote needs checking.
Why 67/100?
Document-based editorial assessment of the international forex/CFD offering, using Clarytrade's eight published criteria. Category values are our judgments, not measured execution, withdrawal or support results. The international agreement names a Saint Lucia company; separate group-company authorisations do not establish the terms of that account. Limited complaint and service evidence is stated rather than treated as proof of good or bad outcomes. Affiliate revenue has no weight. Separate app and experience-fit figures are editorial comparisons: documented mobile capabilities, account/entity complexity for beginners, and platform/account flexibility for experienced users. They are not app-store ratings.
Affiliate commission is weighted 0% and never affects this score.
Regulation & safety · 55/100
The international agreement identifies a Saint Lucia company, without establishing a brokerage authorisation for it. Separate group records have been read, but the UK permission is not a retail route. Written client-money and conditional negative-balance terms add documentation; they do not establish UK/EU coverage or a statutory compensation scheme for this account.
Fees & all-in cost · 80/100
The published STP and commission-account schedules permit a practical cost comparison. Prime ECN's USD6 round-turn commission is accessible without Ultra's higher balance requirement, and the Help Center states no inactivity charge. Financing, conversion and payment costs remain additional; inconsistent withdrawal-fee pages limit the assessment.
Platform & app quality · 80/100
The documented platform choice includes MetaTrader 4/5, PRO Trader and AppTrader, plus a separate CopyTrader service. This supports different desktop, web and mobile workflows. We have not measured uptime, order execution, app usability or copy-trading results.
Asset coverage · 78/100
The broker documents forex and multiple derivative asset classes, including share, index, commodity, ETF, bond and crypto exposure. That is broader than forex alone; it does not establish ownership of underlying assets or identical product availability for every account. No unverified instrument count is added to this score.
Deposits & withdrawals · 60/100
Published funding options and the USD50 entry level provide several account-funding choices. Same-name checks, method limits and later payment-provider arrival still apply. Conflicting processing estimates and wire-fee descriptions reduce clarity; we have not tested a withdrawal.
Customer support · 60/100
The contact page lists phone, email and live chat with 24/5 availability. This earns credit for documented access, without treating advertised availability as a measured response time or a resolution-quality finding.
Reputation & complaints · 50/100
A representative complaint-resolution record has not been established in this review. The assessment therefore remains evidence-limited: published contact and dispute provisions are not treated as proof of customer satisfaction, and no absence-of-complaints claim is made.
Transparency · 60/100
Account prices and legal documents are publicly readable, including the limits of the negative-balance clause. However, withdrawal timing, charges and account-currency lists differ across public pages. Company scope needs careful reading, so documentation availability alone does not earn a high clarity assessment.
Assessment dated 2026-10-22. Read the scoring method. Account terms and country eligibility require a separate check.
Regulation & legal entities
A record for one company does not identify which company would hold your account. Country acceptance is a separate check.

Country availability
The international .com website expressly excludes UK services and Singapore citizens/residents. Its footer also lists Canada, Cyprus, France, Spain, Russia, Ukraine, Italy and the United States. The Help Center additionally names Australia, Romania and several sanctioned jurisdictions and US territories. These different lists are explicitly non-exhaustive, and campaign restrictions apply separately. Omission from one list does not establish acceptance; check the account company and current partner terms.
Accounts, fees & spreads
Compare the same instrument and lot size. These are international advertised terms, not execution tests or terms for every entity.
| Account | Minimum / qualification | Spread | Commission | Leverage |

| Direct STP | USD50 | From 1.2 pips | USD0 in account comparison | Up to 1,000:1 |

| Ultra ECN | Maintain USD20,000 equivalent; upgrade subject to review | From 0.0 pips | USD1 per standard lot per side; USD2 round turn | Up to 500:1 |
International website terms, read 20 October 2026. Starting spreads are advertised minima, not average costs. Commission varies by instrument. The Help Center calls the spread-only account Standard STP and requires a maintained balance and reviewed upgrade for Ultra ECN. These labels are not our execution-test findings. Account comparison ↗

Our full read
Moneta Markets offers several account structures under one brand. The account name changes the spread and commission, but it does not establish which company holds your account. The findings below come from the international website, its Help Center and the official records linked in this profile, read on 20 October 2026. They are document research, not live account, execution or withdrawal tests.
Direct STP, Prime ECN and Ultra ECN are different cost structures
The international account comparison advertises a USD50 minimum deposit for Direct STP and Prime ECN. Direct STP has spreads from 1.2 pips with no separate trading commission in that comparison. Prime ECN advertises spreads from 0.0 pips plus USD3 per standard lot per side: opening and closing one lot therefore adds USD6 in commission before spread, overnight funding, slippage or conversion.
Ultra ECN advertises USD1 per standard lot per side, or USD2 round turn. Its qualification is materially different: the Help Center requires a maintained balance of USD20,000 or the currency equivalent, an opt-in request and review. It should not be read as the same USD50 account with a cheaper commission.
These are advertised account terms. The Help Center also calls the spread-only product “Standard STP”, while the comparator calls it “Direct STP”. Confirm the account name and instrument specification on the application. The labels STP and ECN are the provider's account names; we have not tested how orders are executed. Starting spreads are not average trading costs, and the stated lot commissions must not be assumed to apply identically to every share CFD or other instrument.
A one-lot EUR/USD cost illustration
The published spreads table showed an average EUR/USD spread of 1.36 pips for STP and 0.26 pips for ECN when read. It did not identify the measurement window. Using one standard lot in a USD account and a USD10 pip value gives this illustration:
- Direct STP: 1.36 pips × USD10 = USD13.60 in spread cost, with USD0 commission in the account comparison.
- Prime ECN: 0.26 pips × USD10 = USD2.60 in spread cost, plus USD6 round-turn commission = USD8.60.
The calculation uses the broker's table, not a quote from a live trading account. Actual spreads, execution prices, overnight charges and currency conversion can change the total. Compare the same instrument, size, holding period and legal entity; the spread versus commission guide explains why a zero-spread headline does not answer that comparison by itself.
The company name needs checking before the funding terms
The international client agreement names Moneta Markets Ltd in Saint Lucia, with company registration 2023-00068. Company registration alone is not evidence of financial-services authorisation. The brand also names companies in other jurisdictions; those records do not automatically apply to an international account.
In particular, the international website states that it does not provide services or promotions to UK residents. The FCA register for Moneta Markets Capital Ltd lists professional and eligible-counterparty customers for its arranging/dealing permissions, and says the firm cannot hold or control client money. The separate UK company must not be used to imply that the international referral opens an FCA-regulated retail account. Read the agreement shown during the actual application and match its company to the appropriate official record. The entity checker explains the distinction between a brand, a licence and country eligibility.
Account protections have conditions
A further read of the international documents on 22 October 2026 found a conditional negative-balance provision in section 11 of the March 2026 client agreement. It describes a reset for market-gap losses, with exclusions including abnormal markets, force majeure, certain charges and breaches of the agreement. Positive balances in other accounts can be offset first. This must not be presented as an unconditional loss limit or as UK/EU regulatory protection.
Section 12 of the international risk notice describes segregation of client money unless otherwise agreed in writing. We have not verified banking arrangements, and have not established a statutory compensation scheme for the Saint Lucia company. The full risk warning remains relevant alongside these conditional contract provisions.
Deposits and account currencies
The comparator lists PRO Trader, MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5 and AppTrader. Its account-currency list includes AUD, but the Help Center currency list lists GBP, BRL, CAD, EUR, HKD, JPY, NZD, SGD and USD without AUD. The account, platform and region affect the available choice; confirm the portal options before deciding where currency conversion will occur.
The deposit page lists bank transfer, cards, FasaPay and Sticpay. Its advertised instant processing for some methods is distinct from a bank transfer, for which it gives 2–5 business days. The broker's deposit-fee table shows USD0, but that does not remove receiving-bank, intermediary or conversion costs. Same-name funding and verification requirements still apply. The deposit-limits article also mentions cryptocurrency funding with method-specific limits; funding in crypto does not establish that crypto CFDs are available to trade.
Withdrawal processing and receipt are separate stages
The Help Center timing article gives 1–2 business days for internal processing, excluding weekends. After processing, its arrival estimates are 1–5 business days for international bank or card withdrawals, 1–3 business days for local bank or e-wallet withdrawals, and up to one business day for crypto wallets. These are estimates, not a promise that the money reaches every customer within two days.
There is a public-source discrepancy. The main withdrawal page says 1–3 business days for processing; the separate funding policy says generally 24 hours. Check the current portal instructions for the selected account and method. Our withdrawal checklist helps separate a request still being verified, a broker processing delay and a payment already sent to a provider.
The fee descriptions also differ. The Help Center fee article says the first international bank wire in a calendar month is free of a broker charge, with subsequent charges of 20 account-currency units for its listed USD, GBP, CAD, EUR, BRL, SGD and NZD accounts, HKD150 or JPY3,000. It lists USD1 for USDT-TRC20 withdrawals. The main withdrawal page instead describes a minimum bank-wire charge of 20 base-currency units, and the policy gives a different bank/intermediary-cost example. We therefore do not describe withdrawals as universally free. Confirm the quoted fee before submitting a request.
Other terms that affect the decision
The inactivity article states that there is no inactivity fee, while noting that an account can be archived after 90 inactive days when its balance is 10 or lower. A swap-free account is not necessarily free of holding costs: the swap-free article says some instruments may have administration fees.
The contact page lists email, telephone and live chat with 24/5 support. That is a published availability statement, not a measured response-time result. The account comparison advertises maximum leverage of 1,000:1 for Direct STP and Prime ECN, and 500:1 for Ultra ECN; these are international product limits, not UK or EU retail account terms. Higher leverage magnifies exposure and losses. Confirm the actual product, company and leverage limit on the account rather than treating the brand-level maximum as a target.
Product and platform scope checked for the assessment
The official product Help Center article, read on 22 October 2026, explicitly lists cryptocurrencies among the trading products. This is a separate source from crypto funding support; it does not establish access for every account or country. The CopyTrader page and demo page document those services. Copying trades can result in losses and is not a service-performance finding.
Our additional fit assessments are 75/100 for documented app capabilities, 50/100 for beginner fit and 80/100 for advanced-platform fit. They reflect the platform choices and account structures, with lower beginner fit because entity, leverage and account conditions require careful checking. These are editorial judgments, not app-store ratings or measured usability, execution or investment results.
What the documents offer
- Published spread-only and commission-account choices allow a like-for-like cost comparison.
- MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, PRO Trader and AppTrader are listed on the account comparison.
- The Help Center separates internal withdrawal processing from later payment-provider arrival.
What needs attention
- Group licences must not be treated as licences for the Saint Lucia account company.
- Public withdrawal pages disagree on processing estimates and fees.
- Ultra ECN requires a maintained USD20,000-equivalent balance and an approved upgrade.
- High international leverage magnifies losses; advertised starting spreads exclude other trading costs.

Moneta Markets — common questions
Does a Moneta Markets account mean an FCA-regulated retail account?
No. The .com international website excludes UK services. The separate UK firm's FCA record lists professional and eligible-counterparty arranging/dealing permissions, and it cannot hold or control client money. Check the actual agreement instead of applying a group licence to every account.
Is the minimum deposit USD50 or USD20,000?
The international comparator advertises USD50 for Direct STP and Prime ECN. Ultra ECN is a separate reviewed upgrade that requires a maintained balance of USD20,000 or the currency equivalent. Payment methods can have their own limits.
Does a zero-pip spread mean there are no costs?
No. Prime and Ultra ECN have per-side commissions in addition to the actual spread. Overnight funding, slippage, conversion and payment costs can also apply. The starting spread is not an average execution cost.
Can deposits and withdrawals use cryptocurrency?
The Help Center describes crypto funding and withdrawals when the method is available in the client portal. Its fee article specifically lists USDT-TRC20. This does not establish that every country, network or crypto trading product is available.
