The three-decision challenge
Week of 26 Oct 2026 · Everyone gets the same price path. Each decision reveals the next hour.
Can you stick to a plan across three decisions?
Start with $10,000 of virtual money. At each checkpoint, buy, sell or sit out. Set a position size and optional exits, then reveal the next fictional hour. Open positions close when the round ends.
Review three checks per trade: a stop set, estimated loss at that stop within 1% of the balance, and a target set. Sitting out is valid and unscored. Profit does not add points.
Elapsed fictional session time. Future prices stay hidden until you commit a decision.
How the challenge and planning checks work
Every visitor to this week’s link gets the same generated EUR/USD prices and three decision points. Prices are fictional, not the market during the week shown. Replays start with 30 minutes of visible prices, then reveal three one-hour rounds. Stops and targets are checked on every five-second tick. Any remaining position closes at the end of its round.
Fixed simulation assumptions: $10,000 starting balance, 30:1 leverage, $3.50 commission per standard lot per side, 0.2-pip slippage and a 50% margin stop-out. The generated bid/ask spread also affects results. Stop-risk estimates include both commissions and exit slippage; a gap can produce a larger realised loss.
Each trade has three separate checks: stop set, estimated stop loss no greater than 1% of the balance at entry, and target set. The 1% threshold is an exercise rule. A higher profit adds no checks. Sitting out adds neither passed nor possible checks; observing every round is not a perfect trading score.
Attempts are repeatable and stored on this browser. Shared images are self-reported practice records, not verified performance. There is no leaderboard, cash, prize or connection to a broker account. This exercise does not establish suitability for live trading.
New scenarios become available on Mondays in Europe/Vilnius. Bookmark the challenge hub for the latest week. You can also open the full simulator or read risk management basics.
