Which HYCM entity would onboard you?

| Legal entity | Regulator | Typically onboards | Protection notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| HYCM Capital Markets (UK) Limited United Kingdom | FCA (Tier 1) Read 2026-09-30: Authorised, FRN 186171; dealing permissions include retail clients and forex/CFDs. Permission does not establish current account availability. | HYCM Financial Services L.L.C. United Arab Emirates | CMA (UAE) (Tier 2) Claimed licence 20200000473 remains pending as of 2026-09-30. Our full read
Start with the company on your agreement
HYCM has separate legal companies with different roles. On 30 September 2026 we manually read the FCA record for HYCM Capital Markets (UK) Limited: FRN 186171, Authorised, with retail forex/CFD dealing permissions. That does not extend those permissions to every account bearing the HYCM name.
The DFSA entry names HYCM Limited, F000048. Its listed service is arranging deals, with a retail-client endorsement. We therefore show its role separately from a trading counterparty.
HYCM also discloses a Category 5 CMA licence for HYCM Financial Services L.L.C., number 20200000473. Our manual search returned the company name, but the detail did not load. That row remains pending verification.
The international contract is different
The international customer agreement, version 1 August 2025, names HYCM Capital Markets S.R.L. in Costa Rica. The company registration number is not a brokerage licence. We have not independently verified a brokerage authorisation for this operator.
The contract includes negative-balance terms, but these should not be confused with UK or EU regulatory coverage. The exact company, account terms and country eligibility need checking before funding.
Three pricing structures
The international account table, read 30 September 2026, lists a $20 minimum deposit for Fixed, Classic and Raw accounts. Fixed starts at 1.5 pips and Classic at 1.2, with no separate commission. Raw starts at 0.1 pips, with $4 per round for FX and $5 for metals. These are advertised starting prices, not our measured spreads. Financing and other charges are additional.
MT4 and MT5 are listed. Expert advisers are allowed on Classic and Raw, but the Fixed table says no. Confirm the same combination is available under your agreement.
Costs after opening
The international agreement's section 11.4 sets a $10 monthly inactivity charge after 90 days without activity. HYCM's withdrawal explanation says requests are processed within one business day, with receipt potentially taking three to seven days. These are broker statements; we have not made a test withdrawal.
How we assessed it
Our score applies the published Clarytrade weighting to a document review. The platform and pricing assessments reflect disclosed features and charges. The regulation assessment gives weight to the international contract's separate status; the support and reputation assessments reflect limited independently assessed evidence. We have not measured execution, support response times or withdrawal performance. Affiliate commission has no weighting.
Clarytrade has an HY Affiliates relationship. Its rate is not yet confirmed. Our international referral is withheld for UK/EEA visitors and excluded markets; that restriction should not be read as a statement that the UK company cannot serve UK clients.
Pros
- Published Fixed, Classic and Raw pricing makes account structures comparable
- MT4 and MT5; expert advisers are listed for Classic and Raw accounts
- UK and DIFC regulatory records independently read, with their different scopes disclosed
Cons
- The international Costa Rica contract does not inherit the UK entity's FCA authorisation
- Inactivity fees and financing add to the headline spread and commission
- CMA licence detail remains pending; withdrawal speeds are broker estimates, not our measurements

Complaints & track record
This is a document-based review. We have not tested deposits, execution, support response times or withdrawals, and have not established a representative complaint-resolution record. The score is editorial and does not measure the probability of loss or account acceptance.
